Preferred Coverage
COVERAGE OVERVIEW
The Preferred Protection Plan is the highest level of "stated component" coverage we have available. From your engine to your power windows, Preferred coverage pays to repair or replace failed items that are "stated" in the "What is Covered" section of our contract. This protection is available for vehicles four years old or newer with 125,000 miles or less on the odometer.

24-HOUR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
Mechanical First Aid
Any service requiring a minor adjustment (exclusive of parts) to enable a disabled vehicle to proceed under its own power (where available).
Tire Service
The changing of a flat tire with an inflatable spare.
Battery Service
Attempting to start a vehicle with a booster battery.
Delivery Service
We will cover the cost of delivering needed fuel or fluid to your disablement location (you must pay for the cost of the actual goods).
Towing Service
Any tow of 25 miles or less is covered in total.
Locksmith Service
If keys are locked inside the vehicle, a locksmith will be dispatched for service.
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS
Manufacturer Deductible
In the event of a breakdown of a component/part covered by this agreement while still under the manufacturer's warranty, we will reimburse you for any required deductible up to $100.00 per occurence less than the applicable deductible of your agreement.
Transferable
Should you sell your vehicle, this coverage may be transferred to the new owner.
Substitute Transportation
In the event of a mechanical breakdown of a covered component, the purchaser will be REIMBURSED $35 per 8 hours of approved labor time, based on labor time guide (Maximum $175.00 per visit). Substitute transportation must be supplied by the issuing dealer or a duly licensed rental agency.
Coverage Throughout the U.S. & Canada
You are protected when away from home. Any qualified repair facility can make authorized repairs.
Trip Interruption
In the event of a mechanical breakdown of a covered component or part and you are more than 100 miles away from home, we will reimburse you for expenses for meals and/or lodging up to a maximum of $50.00 per day for each eight hours or portion thereof of required manual flat rate labor time. Benefit not to exceed a total of $200.00.
